Policies and prices are subject to change without notice.

I reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason.
Please note: 6% sales tax will be added to all orders placed by Maryland residents.
Gift wrapping is available at no extra charge, and packages may be shipped to the gift recipient if desired.
-Shipping-
- Customer pays all shipping charges as noted below.
- My preferred shipping method is via USPS Priority Mail, which is generally a 1-3 day service. Current domestic (USA) shipping for packages up to 1 pound is $4.95.
- Insurance is highly recommended. I cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages. Please be aware that insurance over $50 will require a signature. Current insurance rates can be found here.
- Delivery confirmation will be included on all packages for free. This is not a signature required service.
- Other shipping methods available include USPS Express Mail or various UPS services. Prices on these will most likely be higher than those listed above.
- International rates will vary according to destination. International customers are responsible for all additional fees related to customs, etc.
- Remember that UPS will not deliver to PO boxes.
-Payment Options-
Always get in touch with me before submitting payment to verify if the piece you are ordering is still available and to discuss shipping options. Shipping cost will be added to the total. All payments must be in U.S. funds.
At this time, I am only accepting payments through Paypal. Please send payment to lizayn@gmail.com.
-Returns-
- Returns will be accepted within 10 days, provided merchandise is in resellable condition. Customer must pay return shipping charges. Delivery confirmation and/or insurance is recommended, as I cannot refund your money if I don't receive the piece back.
- Earrings are non-returnable for sanitation reasons.
- If your order sustains damage in shipping, contact me immediately and let me know what is damaged. I may be able to repair it. I will do this for free if the damage is under $20, but you must pay for shipping. If it is unrepairable, or if the damage exceeds $20, I recommend contacting the courier and filing a claim. Getting them to reimburse you will allow you to buy a replacement or have me perform more extensive repairs without you losing money. If you contact me more than 2 days after receipt, the free repair offer is void. Applicability of this offer is at my discretion and abuse of it will result in its removal from my policies.
-Custom work-
Custom orders are very welcome here. Email me to get started. The following policies apply to custom work:
- After a price has been generated, a 50% deposit is required for work to begin. The first 20% is non-refundable to account for time spent researching materials and design options. The remaining 30% is fully refundable if you change your mind any time before shipping. Contacting me for an estimate on a type of work is, of course, free, but I cannot guarantee the estimate.
- Any changes to the design may result in a change in price.
- You must be honest with me if something about the design isn't working for you. Don't worry about hurting my feelings because you won't. This is about you, and I want you to love this jewelry!
- Time is a very real concern when dealing with custom work. Please don't contact me a week before you need the piece and expect it to be done in time because it's not gonna happen! It may be a month from the time you first contact me until the piece arrives at your door, particularly if you only have a vague idea of what you want or if you want to incorporate exotic materials. I won't even be able to give you a finish date estimate until the materials arrive. So unless you already know exactly what you want and I have the supplies on hand, please allow for plenty of design time. If you do have a specific date by which you need the piece, be sure to let me know right away.
- When the piece is completed, I will post pictures on a special web page made just for your jewelry. If you like the finished product, the balance will be due, including any changes to price that resulted from changes in the design and shipping charges.
- Custom work is non-returnable.
-Wholesale-
I do offer wholesale pricing to businesses with the intention of reselling my work in their shop. I do not offer to mass produce items for resale. Wholesale terms are as follows:
- Wholesale rates are 50% off of retail prices listed on the site.
- Minimum order of 5 pieces. Sets must be kept together and count as a single piece.
- Valid business license required.
- Orders must consist of items currently available. Wholesale pricing does not apply to custom work, as it is priced according to each individual order.
-Privacy-
All information you submit to me, be it payment information, email, etc., will be kept strictly confidential. Your personal information will never be given to anyone else for any purpose ever. It will be used for the transaction between you and lizayn design only, and for mailing list purposes if you wish. Unless, of course, I'm subpoenaed, or required by law for some reason, blah, blah, blah, etc., although I'm not sure why that would ever happen.
-General Disclaimer-
Although I hate to have to say this, recent events that occured to an acquaintance force me to place this notice here. Purchase and use of my jewelry is at your own risk. I will not be held responsible for loss of property, personal injury, or other damage, physical, emotional, or otherwise, due to anything purchased from me or the packaging in which it is sent.
