Annapolis Chorale Auction Donation
This set was made as a donation for the Annapolis Chorale's 2003 fundraising silent auction. The materials are iolite briolettes, faceted amethyst and jet beads, freshwater pearls hand knotted on silk, and sterling silver. Although I was unable to attend the auction, I was told that this was a hotly contested item. I am proud to have helped out this wonderful local organization.

Black Dragon Choker
My first really impressive chainwork piece. Made for a friend who loves dragons using crystal teardrops, black anodized aluminum, and stainless steel. The pendant is enameled pewter. She gets rave reviews. I love the look of the stainless steel, but it's so hard that I find it very difficult to work with. Please don't ask me to do anything with stainless steel!
Amethyst, Labradorite, and Shell Fringe Bracelet
This bracelet is a fun, sparkly fringe of faceted amethyst and labradorite, with matching laminated, dyed shell linked to a chunky, hand made double chain of sterling silver and gold fill. I have left the chain unpolished for a softer look. The amethyst and labradorite beads are hand cut, so variations in size and shape are normal and add to the wild and funky character of this unique bracelet.
Rainbow Moonstone and Amethyst Chandeliers
Faceted, deep purple amethyst dangles boldly from shimmering rainbow moonstone chains. Each stone is hand wire wrapped with sterling silver wire. Topped with a hand made sterling silver link, these striking chandeliers will add drama to any ensemble.
Five Strand Byzantine Bracelet
A dramatic and elegant statement for your wrist, this wonderful bracelet is hand made of sterling silver chainwork in the byzantine weave. Substantial and purposeful, yet feminine and fun, this lacy confection works perfectly with everything from formal wear to weekend casual.
Peridot & Swiss Topaz Japanese Tennis Set
This was made for my mother's birthday, part 1 of a full set. A necklace and ring will follow. This was my first foray into the world of faceted gemstones. I used prefabricated bezel style settings and attached them using a basic Japanese chain weave in sterling silver. This set was inspired by the simple elegance of the tennis bracelet, but with a bit more flair.
Rose Garden Bracelet
If you like pink, this bracelet is for you! Deep pink rhodonite and rich red garnet provide the perfect showcase for the ultra rare and uniquely beautiful pale pink and gray astorite. Not only will you never see another bracelet like this one, chances are, you will never see anyone else wearing astorite, because it is found only in one small mine in the entire world. Amethyst and Sea Gems Earrings
These unique earrings will stand out from the average chandelier. Chains of shining silver rings and iridescent sea gems cascade from a single faceted, royal purple amethyst disk. Each bead is hand wire wrapped with sterling silver.
Byzantine Wrapped Coral and Rose Quartz Earrings
Lovely, rich red sponge coral is framed in lacy gold filled byzantine chain for a funky yet elegant focal. Dripping from these are hand wire wrapped cloudy, pale pink rose quartz briolettes. A unique statement in a hot color.
Labradorite and Blue Chalcedony Earrings
I just love these earrings. This combination of labradorite and blue chalcedony is so restful and beautiful. I think this is a combination you will see again. The mysterious labradorites are stacked, their ghostly fire echoing the soft blue of the chalcedony drops.
Sterling Silver Chainwork Chandeliers
A study in circles, these unique and modern chandeliers will add sexy sparkle and drama to any ensemble. Five columns of silver rings flow like water from the hand made loop at the top of each earring. Highly versatile, these earrings will be favorites for years to come.
Byzantine Wrapped Unakite and Lemon Jade Earrings
Green and gold. There is no more soothing combination of metal and stone, displayed here in a unique and elegant pair of earrings. Single unakite beads are framed by hand linked gold filled byzantine chain, supporting hand wire wrapped briolettes of mottled lime green lemon jade.
Botswana Agate and Moonstone Necklace
Soft, gentle, and elegant, this simple strand will become a wardrobe staple. Beautiful, serene, gray and white banded botswana agate is spaced with sparkling, translucent rainbow moonstone that flashes blue when the light hits it just right. So lovely and versatile, you will want to wear it with everything.
Coffe Lace Agate and Picture Jasper Flower Necklace
This earthy necklace is bold and chunky, yet undeniably elegant, due to the warm colors and the sparkle of the faceted coffee lace agate nuggets. The centerpiece is a large, hand carved picture jasper flower pendant, which is a rich, creamy beige with dark brown and black speckles. Separating the large agates are coppery brown freshwater pearls and tiny citrine rondelles.
Amazonite and Sterling Silver Chainwork Earrings
Simple, fun, elegant. All of these words characterize these unique earrings. A single hand wire wrapped, faceted amazonite rondelle tops a length of sterling silver chainwork, hand linked ring by ring in the Half Persian 4-in-1 weave.
Freshwater Pearl and Carnelian Earrings
These little earrings have such a playful feel. Dangling from fun, circular silver links, hand made double link chains of sterling silver hold clusters of tiny, warm brown pearls and bright orange carnelian. At the base of the chains, silky mauve pearls provide a sophisticated finish.
